The Kreed! (1971)

Recieved a red phone call this morning...so its also available here.

> Also, there was also a Fairbault, Minnesota band named Kreed that released
> a self-titled LP in 1971 on the Vision of Sound label. Supposedly some guys
> in a military school with a non-'71 garage sound. Never heard it myself,
> and apparently far from bargain bin material.

V.A - The Quill Records Story - The Best of Chicago Garage Bands

Peter Wright's Quill Records recorded some of America's best garage rock. The term is a misnomer in Wright's case because he used good studios but still managed to produce that raw, edgy sound associated with the style. The 25 tracks represent a good overview of Quill's output by a host of Midwest bands that deserved far better including the Exterminators, the Rooks, Chances R, the High Schoolers, the Delights, and the Skunks. Lovers of the style will treasure these refreshing mid-'60s sounds.

MC5 - Phun City Festival (1970)

Fred Smith, on his knees , his feet, his back ,jumping ,leaping through the air, firing his gun at the audience- machine fast, tripping over the boss and keeping the music coming. "The MC5, The MC5."

Too Much!
