THank you for your taste and discretion, I have been enjoying this Standells--of who I used to see many LP's set out as if it they were a special band but had not heard only when Minor Threat and then Outskirts (from my blog DU)cover Good Guys back in the early eighties. THe groove is phenominal for the whole of Bad Guys! Great great stuff!! THanks Again Padro! Hey all check "the Scott Story" CD post at Garage 66--how I found the Pretty Things and whole site here.

The Standells have always been a great band and believe me I am really old enough to remember them
I seen the Rolling Stones in 1966 and thay were one of the opening acts To be honest I do not remember much about the concert But I know they were on the bill

The Standells were not from Boston! This is a common misconception because of Dirty Water, but they were from California. This is well documented, look it up.
